How does the contest work?
You can enter to win over $900 in prizes just for showing off a picture of your dog!  Or you can just play along by voting for your favorite pet(s)!  One photo entry will be chosen by the judges (who can consider your votes - so don't forget to vote!) as the winner.

When is the deadline to enter my votes?
You can enter a photo of your pet(s) and/or keep voting for your favorite pet(s) until 12PM on August 23, 2013!

Can I enter a pet other than a dog?
Yes. We are focusing this contest theme around dogs, but it is open to all pets.

Why can't a person be in the photo?
Our contest rules don't allow people to be visible in this contest.  Please make sure no person is visible in any part of the photo (even a small corner or in the background).

I entered, but don't see my photo. Why is that?
Photos are not immediately displayed. Entries are reviewed one by one. You will receive an email letting you know if your entry has been approved or declined for the contest. It can take up to 2-3 business days for a photo to be reviewed, but is usually reviewed much faster.

Why would my photo be declined?
The most common reasons is that a person is visible in the photo. No persons may be visible in the photo. That includes people visible in the background or just a small portion of a person being visible. Another common reason is submission information being completed incorrectly.  If your entry is declined, you are welcome to submit another as long as we are within the entry period.
